Pioneers in Stormwater Management
For Over 25 Years - and Still the Market Leader
After a quarter-century as an established brand, we are still pioneers in the field. Most projects use our venerable “CrystalClean” separator, but we now have a versatile, multi-purpose device. Our CrystalClear-Choice device (previously known as “Hybrid Polisher”) adds the filtration media of your choice to enhance the separation process and features “top-down” cleaning and maintenance access. This innovation can serve applications far beyond simply meeting stormwater quality standards.
Who WE Serve
Engineers
Get engineered designs, not generic details that are unrelated to your site.
Contractors
If CST is specified get a detailed quote for a fully assembled device, F.O.B. your site. If a competitor is specified, let us provide an equal product, tailored to your site.
Site Owners
Your purchase happens only one time, but maintenance and cleaning costs are forever. Let us help you minimize your long term costs.
Regulators
Laboratory testing is an excellent way to compare two devices, but field performance tells the true story of working with actual storms and real pollutants. Ask us about our true third-party field tests.
Plus, we are always looking for new precast partners. Give us a call at 800-748-6945 to discuss adding a new line of precast water quality products to your inventory.
States. State permits and regulations change all the time. Most states have accommodated the use of proprietary products in some form or fashion. We work with owners, contractors and engineers to look for new opportunities in new states.
Contractors. Almost always, our devices are quoted fully assembled and ready to place into your drainage system immediately. We do not sell direct. You will be dealing with a local precaster we have selected based on their qualifications. They will quote your device with our approval, and can often provide other services such as setting the device into your excavation.
Engineering Firms. We have excellent federal testing by both the EPA and the USGS, along with other third-party field testing. We size our devices by using those field tests to document that our device can meet your local jurisdiction’s requirements. The water quality treatment flow rates vary from state to state and even from town to town. We use the hydrology numbers from your site to tailor the size of our device specifically to your needs.
Specified Plans. For most commercial sites, our standard “CrystalClean” separator with filter will work nicely. We also offer our “CrystalClear-Choice” that can address specific pollutants and is the appropriate choice for many industrial or “hot spot” applications. The “Choice” is versatile and can use practically any media to filter and treat runoff with a built-in bypass to allow the device to stay online for large events.
Lorem Ipsum Estra Dolar
No generic plans or half-hearted efforts here. We study and then generate a design that meets local requirements for permitting, but also serves the community well in the long term. Our devices may not be green in color, but we save space by going underground and we do the dirty work to protect ponds, bio-retention areas, infiltration fields and constructed wetlands downstream of our devices. We keep the green green and litter free. All the sediment, hydrocarbons, trash and debris is locked in our underground vault, where it is fast and easy to access and clean out.
We provide designs for your actual site – plans that are custom-tailored to your exact project location and profile.
Specific Site Design
While others offer a generic detail that requires modification to work on a specific site, CST is differnt: We offer a detailed drawing – supplied for inclusion on the construction plans.
Interactive Design Process
CST has an interactive design process with the engineer of record (EOR), to ensure we match elevations and flows at the specific site.
Localized Design Report
Localized design report and specifications confirming that the design meets federal, state and local requirements. Sizing and configuration is based on the EOR’s hydrology report.
Custom Concrete and Metal Fabrication
Custom concrete fabrication and internal parts fabrication documents to be sure the device arrives at the site matching the detail drawing on the permitted plans.
No Single Source or Proprietary Materials Used in Our Devices.
We Provide Fast Turnaround
Over 90% of our designs are finished within two business days. The initial design and revisions are made at no charge to the engineer. We rely on precasters for our quotes, but 90% of those are also accomplished within two business days.
